Birmingham REALTORS® Welcomes Felicia Yonter as Director of Commercial Services and Community Revitalization

The Birmingham Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors welcomes Felicia Yonter as staff liaison to the Birmingham Commercial REALTORS® Council, a subsidiary of BAR. 

Yonter begins her position as director of commercial services and community revitalization Feb. 5. In that role, she will assist BCRC in its efforts to support members and advance the commercial real estate industry.

“BCRC is extremely fortunate to have a person of Ms. Yonter’s caliber to work with us on our various projects, community involvement and continued growth,” said BCRC President Austin Blair. BCRC was founded in 2005 to provide resources to commercial REALTOR® and Institute Affiliate members and their affiliated organizations. The council engages in advocacy and helps advance the commercial real estate industry and community.

BAR President Kim Mangham-Barelare sees the addition of Yonter as yet another opportunity to ensure quality service to association members.

“Ms. Yonter’s experience at the Chicago and Houston REALTORS® associations and at the National Association of REALTORS® will have a positive impact on our mission,” Mangham-Barelare said. “We are fortunate to welcome her to our professional member services team.”

Yonter has worked on commercial real estate initiatives with the Chicago Association of REALTORS®, the National Association of REALTORS® and the Houston Association of REALTORS®. Her bachelor’s degree is from Chicago’s DePaul University. She brings to BCRC more than 15 years of experience in business development and strategic management.

“My family settled in Birmingham after the Fall of Saigon in 1975,” Yonter said. “I grew up here, and I'm beyond excited to come home and do the work I love for this great city.”
